Shields for user agents

As part of our bot filtering, we already block traffic based on user agents but it could be useful to have an option in Shields to add more user agents to the blocklist for those who want to be more aggresive and better control what traffic gets recorded

Yes, I’d like to have this. I’m currently seeing a scraper bot attack of 40k per day from too many IPs to block individually, but the bots all have the exact same user agent, so it would be trivial to block by user agent.

It would also be useful to set an expiration time on a user agent block. The bot attack I’m seeing is a legitimate user agent block, but it’s a version of Chrome on MacOS from two years ago, so I’d only want to block it for a week or so until the bot attack subsides. Whereas if the user agent were like “PerplexityBot” then I’d want to block that permanently.
