Enable comparison for the current ongoing day, based on time of day

Currently, when looking at a traffic comparison between Today and 7 days ago at, for example, Noon — my metrics would show that my traffic is down 50%. But, that’s just because we’re only halfway through the day.

It would be much more helpful if the comparison percentage showed me how today’s traffic up until noon compares to last week’s traffic up until noon.

In theory, this could be done based on the “last full hour”.

For exmaple: Let’s assume you’re looking your dashboard today at 2:23 PM. You’d be able to compare the stats of today up until 2 PM vs last Friday up until 2PM? If you were to look at 3:12PM you could compare the stats for today up until 3PM vs last Friday and so on.

Ultimately, this would make it easier to understand if I’m underperforming or overperforming compared to historical data. (Right now, I’d essentially have to wait until nearly midnight to find the comparison percentage to be helpful.)
